Product Description

5-Hexynoic acid is an organic compound that has attracted attention because of its potential anticancer effects. While the exact biological mechanism responsible for its activity is still under investigation, it is believed to act by inhibiting irreversible acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme involved in the production of several inflammatory mediators.

Experimental studies have demonstrated that this compound can reduce the proliferation of prostate cancer cells, suggesting its possible usefulness in prostate cancer therapy.
